This Trade Sales role focuses entirely on offering a high calibre service to our client’s preferred Travel Agents. The Trade Sales Travel Consultant position centres entirely on dealing with incoming calls from our client’s preferred UK Travel Agents, who are calling for destination and product information, along with advice and assistance in booking their customers tailor-made holidays the Tour Operator. GDS training will be provided to the successful applicant.

Trade Sales Role:
- The Trade Sales Department focuses entirely on offering destination and product information, along with creating, quoting and assisting our client’s preferred Travel Agents, enabling them to sell our client’s long-haul holidays to their direct customers
- Ensure Travel Agents are happy with the holiday products along with information on availability dates, flight schedules, choice of hotels and resorts, special holiday offers along with any excursions and tours on offer
Skills & Experience:
- You will be an experienced Travel Consultant from a Travel Agent / Tour Operator background
- Candidates must have the ability to create high quality tailor made itineraries to meet Travel Agents needs
- Strong problem solving skills and multitasking abilities
- Confident and friendly telephone manner and the ability to work well within a thriving friendly team environment
Salary & Benefits:
If you are interested in this position, there is an exceptionally good package on offer.
- The basic salary is £20,000 per annum guaranteed for the first 6 months + commission, and rising with employment service
- Our client’s generous uncapped commission structure can give you on target earning of £30,000 when switching to £16,000 basic + commission
