The Marketing Executive role is one of the key positions within our client’s marketing department. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Executive will play a key role in managing and driving all offline marketing communications, including brochures and direct mail; copywriting and proofing; PR, bloggers and influencers.

Marketing Executive Job Description:
- The Marketing Executive role primarily covers: all offline marketing communications, including brochures and direct mail; copywriting and proofing; PR, bloggers and influencers
- You will play a key role in managing the relationship with external agencies and internal departments, maintaining regular communication
- The role requires a commercial focus and an ability to present our client’s brand and product benefits in the most attractive and appealing way to drive interest and purchase
- The role will lead by example and present the business to its best at every opportunity
Marketing Executive Responsibilities:
Copy Writing
- Produce copy for all trade partner and customer-facing communications
- Write copy that is consistent with and supports the brand tone of voice, language and positioning at all times, in all environments
- Ensure all copy represents the brand and product in a positive manner that is appealing to and appropriate for the target audience
Proofreading
- Act as 'copy guardian’
- Provide support to colleagues in Sales and Marketing by proofing all sales and marketing partner and customer-facing collateral to ensure it is accurate, high quality and consistent with the brand tone of voice
Offline Advertising (press, door drops, radio, etc.)
- Work with outside agencies to build awareness of our client’s brand, products and campaigns using planned and short term/reactive advertising
- Budget to ensure key selling periods and campaigns are supported with opportunities maximised
- Produce creative as required to consistently communicate the benefits of our client’s holidays, focusing on achieving response and sales
Public Relations
- Proactively solicit and reactively respond to opportunities from relevant journalists, influencers and others to gain meaningful promotion of our client to appropriate audiences
- Produce inspirational 'best in class’ press releases and communications, effectively representing and differentiating our client’s brand and product
Customer Communications (Direct Mail & Brochures)
- Manage and deliver all direct marketing activity, including brochures, brochure launch, direct mail, welcome home letters, etc. to maximise engagement (calls and web visits) and revenue generated
- Suggest (and where approved, implement) new opportunities to drive customer response (database sign up, calls, web visits and sales)
Brand Identity
- Work closely with Managers to ensure that branding is executed to guidelines in the most cost-effective way
- Liaise closely with all internal departments to ensure alignment of the brand in recruitment, customer service communications, etc.
Budgeting & Finance
- Create and manage the Marketing budget and expenditure tracker

- Successful experience in a similar marketing role
- Proven record of writing appealing, accurate copy to a high standard is essential
- In depth knowledge of the rules of English language grammar, punctuation and spelling
- A team player with good communication and relationship skills
